State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition coming to Xbox One

4.8
State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition will launch on Xbox One in spring of 2015, Microsoft and and Undead Labs announced on Friday.

The standalone package brings the downloadable Xbox 360 zombie survival title to retail for the new generation, polished up with enhanced animations and visual effects. It also includes the Breakdown and Lifeline DLC expansions.

Aside from the previously released DLC additions, Year-One Survival Edition will include new mission types for survivors to undertake and other unspecified new material. Undead Labs says it will reveal more details closer to the game's release.

State of Decay first released on Xbox 360 in June 2013, followed by a PC release on Steam Early Access in September 2013. Undead Labs announced that it had agreed to a multi-year, multi-game development deal with Microsoft Studios in January.

The studio has made its future ambitions for the series clear, saying that multiplayer will be built in [to any sequels] from the beginning".

I do not see this being a fun game for a long time. It will be fun for a little awhile but not long.
