FIFA 15 Pro Clubs mode cut on Xbox 360 and PS3

4.5
The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of FIFA 15 won't include Pro Clubs mode, EA has confirmed.

Pro Clubs lets users create their own player and compete with friends and others in up to 11v11 online matches as they battle their way through a league system of ten divisions.

While the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions of the game will include Pro Clubs featuring enhanced customisation options and a simplified flow into matches, the long-running game mode won't be available on older consoles.

In a blog post detailing the last-gen versions of the game, EA said: "We're very confident in the amount of innovation and depth we're delivering but there are some things we couldn't do for FIFA 15 on PS3 and Xbox 360, either based on the limitations of these consoles, or our time and resources. Most notably, Pro Clubs will not be a mode in FIFA 15 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

"While some things have to move solely to the newer consoles, the EA Sports FIFA team bringing you a great football experience on PS3 and Xbox 360 have focused on gameplay innovation, Team Management, Career Mode, FIFA Ultimate Team, and authentic leagues, teams, and kits that mirror the game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One."

Doesnt make sense that the game is still the same price as last year and this year we get less features..

Me and a lot of friends won't be getting this now as we only play FIFA for clubs. None of us want to upgrade yet until the 360 servers are down so it looks like we won't be buying FIFA for a few years

xTriickz I'm glad they did this. Now there is more incentive to get next gen. Up until now there really hasn't been a difference in next gen and current gen except for graphics.

I guess they are trying to transition people to next gen but this is not the right way to do it in my opinion

BoarPosted:

Well I won't be getting this, I don't have a current gen console and clubs is so much fun with friends, oh well.

Not gunna lie, but i never even played Clubs anyway, imo it's boring so..

Wow, they pulled a reverse NHL 15 there!

AR15
happyhaha All i can say to this is F**k EA

There is nothing wrong with EA.

EA does not get to make all the decisions for these games and what not. It is a joint operation between many different companies.

No, I agree with happyhaha. EA always remove a fun gamemode every year. FIFA 13 was Single Matches, FIFA 14 was Coop Seasons against friends, and now they remove Pro Clubs for FIFA 15. This is just unfair for last gen users like myself.

Well, this sucks for last gen users. Doesn't affect me though.

OPPosted:

They did the same thing to NHL 15, no club play which is retarded.
