Evolve beta coming exclusively to Xbox One in January

The beta for Evolve will be coming exclusively to Xbox One in January, Microsoft announced on Tuesday during its Gamescom press conference.

It also confirmed that 'premium downloadable content' will also be released first on Xbox One.

Blending cooperative and competitive multiplayer experiences as a team of four hunters face off against a single, player-controlled monster on an alien planet in the distant future, Evolve is the latest game from Turtle Rock Studios, the co-creators of Left 4 Dead.

The game will launch with multiple monsters, hunters, game modes, and more than a dozen maps.

Originally due to hit shops on October 21, the game will now release on February 10, 2015.

Axe Im not really a huge fan of beta's to be honest. I would rather just play the full game when it comes out. This doesn't seem like my type of game anyhow.


Betas make the full game better as it is a means of bug fixing and what not. However, this game doesn't seem like my kind of game either.

We have some exclusives right now but they are just indie games.

Kind of sucks that they pushed it back to Q1 2015.
Can't wait to see some X1 footage from the beta!
