Rockstar has confirmed that there is less than a week left to take part and buy the Independence Day Special content in GTA Online.

Before the goods disappear at the end of next weekend, players of Grand Theft Auto Online will be able to take part in double RP events in the coming week – although specific dates and times have not yet been confirmed.

The Independence Day Special content includes a fireworks rocket launcher, a musket, a ridiculous monster truck, a big old motorbike built for cruising and one of those hats with beer pockets on the side. Yeehah.

Although the content will disappear shortly, Rockstar has confirmed that the fireworks rocket launcher will come back during holiday times so people can celebrate in style, and those that have already bought it will get some free ammo.

The 17 new jobs and 7 new properties will remain open, as will the ability to ride the roller coaster and ferris wheel on the pier.
