EA unlocks all weapons, gadgets in Battlefield Hardline beta

For its final few days in closed beta, EA has decided to unlock all weapons and gadgets available in Battlefield Hardline.

Unlocking everything will give PC and PS4 beta players the chance to wield any of the content currently gated by level, including the ballistic shied, breaching charge, and decoy gadgets.

According to a press release, EA and Visceral promise that all the weapons and gadgets featured in the beta "are just a taste of what fans can expect" when Battlefield Hardline launches on the PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 21.

Visceral has also deployed a PC patch that tackles some audio issues and improves netcode, one element in Battlefield Hardline that will assuredly be under much scrutiny considering the shaky past with online connectivity the franchise has become known for.

Originally scheduled to end earlier this month, EA extended the Battlefield Hardline PS4 and PC-exclusive closed beta to Thursday, June 26. A beta test for other platforms is expected later this year.

This is smart, it gives the players a chance to try out all of the weapons. I think the beta is awesome!! I'll get on later tonight and play.

I would hope they included helicopters with this or I'll be pretty mad.

That's cool that they did this, this way people can get a chance to use all the weapons, and hopefully find out which one they like the best so when the full game releases they can know what gun to use from the start.

Dwarfs Well that ruins it. I would rather earn the weapons and stuff! Guess not.

reinstalling so like you dont have to pay for anything anymore or every weapon is there to use ??

It's just in the beta, once the full game releases you will have to unlock all the weapons.

Well now we get to see what all there is to offer. I wish they would do the same for the game modes and maps. :P That'd be a bit too much though.

I agree. Kind of takes out a cool aspect of the game. I think ranking up in betas are real fun, would have also been cool if they would have transferred it into the release day as well.
