Halo 5: Guardians beta launches December 27

Microsoft's planned Halo 5: Guardians beta will begin December 27 and run for three weeks, ending on January 17, 343 Industries' Bonnie Ross tells Joystiq.

Beta access will be available via 343's upcoming Halo: The Master Chief Collection, launching on November 11 for the Xbox One. The collection – revealed during Microsoft's E3 media briefing yesterday – includes each game in the Halo series which features Master Chief as its protagonist: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition, a new anniversary update of Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4.

Kicka Halo should have been put to rest after Halo 3.
Unless bungie stayed, because 343 is awful, reach and halo 4 were a gigantic disappointment.
If i owned xbox one i wouldnt even waste my time with Halo 5

I'm sure you're not implying that 343 made reach, because that was most definitely Bungie.
Though I do agree, Reach and H4 were trash when it came to multiplayer but the campaigns were amazing in both.

That's why 343 have hired several of the best professional players, they are dedicated to brining the arena shooter back to how it was emant to be played.

Tbh I don't think this will be a great game. I'm a huge Halo fan but the series has been going downhill IMO. Won't be playing Halo 5 but I will buy the collection.
