If you’re a Xbox Live Gold member and have an Xbox One, you can now download Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood for free, as the very first games selected for the promotion on Microsoft’s new console.
You can “purchase” them (for free) at the following links:

Differently from the Xbox 360 Games With Gold, the titles for Xbox One require an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to be played, pretty much like their counterparts on PlayStation Plus.
If your subscription lapses, you won’t be able to play them until you subscribe again.
In addition to the free games, Crimson Dragon is also available for half the price ($9.99) as part of the Deals with Gold promotion.
It’s worth mentioning that you can still “purchase” the games even if you don’t have an Xbox One (you just won’t be able to download them), exactly like with PlayStation Plus. That way you’ll have the games available as soon as you get the console. Of course the requirement of an active Xbox Live Gold account still stands.
