Xbox One screenshot sharing feature in the works

4.7
A future Xbox One update will introduce the ability to take and share screenshots on social networks.

Asked about plans to introduce such a feature, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said on Twitter: "Yea, this is [on] the list for the monthly updates, team is making great progress on the updates. More features to come."

Xbox One's feature set has been growing regularly since the console's release in November 2013. June's Xbox One system update will be headlined by the introduction of external storage support.

Users will also be able to share their real names with people on their friends list and select an account for automatic sign-in.

Microsoft has made a number of significant announcements over the past few weeks, most notably regarding plans to release an Xbox One without Kinect for the first time.

The company also said earlier this month that Games with Gold will launch on Xbox One in June with Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.

Titled 'Game On', Microsoft's E3 2014 media briefing will begin on June 9 at 9:30am PT / 12:30am ET / 5:30pm BST.

I was kind of expecting them to already have automatic sign in included.

I also would love to share screenshots with other people

DarnedNut I'm still waiting to see if Xbox one will have support for thumbdrives so I can play my downloaded movies instead of buying them ,

It's legal in Canada eh

I would assume USB storage to be enabled in this next update, but, if they release a limitation amount i.e 180GB, which will probably be the amount, then USB will have to wait.

I've never really understood the point in using the social media on the console. I use my phone and my computer. Just too difficult using the internet on the xbox's.

These features could have been added on 360 but it's good.
