It's partly because the VAT is included while tax is not here in the US. Also to protect against currency drops and pay for current exchange.
aren't the prices the same? I am from America but the prices seem to be the same just different values due to the various values of the currencies.
No if you covert the currency at launch the xbox one was still over $100 US dollars more in the UK. Thank god I live in the US.
So basically the xbox one was $600 in the UK?
