Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bringing Something Special to E3

4.1
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games has big plans for E3. With a great deal of time spent developing the story of the game, Sledgehammer wants the E3 conference to be incredibly special. After almost three years of development, they are eager to show off their hard work on the game to the world. ”Our show plans are shaping to be incredibly special,” cofounder Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey said. “We’ve been busy reading all your comments, watching all your videos, and absolutely glowing with the excitement of sharing more with the greatest community on earth.”

It shouldn’t come as a major surprise that thought has been put into the story for that long, after all Activision has talked about wanting Call of Duty to deliver a moment on oar with Game of Thrones’ Red Wedding Scene. Schofield and Condrey haven’t offered up anything in the way of specifics concerning what we’ll see of Advanced Warfare at E3 or at what conference we’ll get to see it. Unlike other big time third party publishers, Activision doesn’t hold its own press conference, though with its long standing relationship with Microsoft. It’s safe to say that we’ll see the meat of the content at their conference on June 9, 12:30pm Eastern/ 9:30 Pacific.

Italian I still don't want the new Call of Duty anymore like I used to back in BO1 days. BUT this Cod has been in development for THREE, YES I SAID IT, THREE NUMBER 3, years. Not TWO, 2, like the others for the past 3-4 years. So this CoD might have potential.

Yeah, something feels different about this CoD. It's normal to get excited about a new game, but not when you don't even play CoD. I ditched CoD a couple years ago but I still feel this game's gonna bring it back.

I have had a slight roller coaster of feelings towards this game. At first, I thought the idea of PMCs taking control was awesome. I then saw the video of how advanced everything is and wasn't liking it. Now, it has some serious potential if it is done right. I hope it feels more like MW3 then anything. If they are serious about a new engine, then it may not feel like any of them. All in all, totally looking forward to E3.

Jet packs in Call of Duty? Ruined the series ever since Ghosts came out, in my opinion. Others will say later.

TankAurora Everyone says they hate each and every call of duty when it comes out. I know I have been around since Call of Duty 2. Ghost has been the only Call of Duty that has let me down. Im sure this one will be good as MW3 was amazing.

if you think mw3 was amazing, there is no way you have played every cod since cod 2 came out.

MW3 was a tipping point, it was you either preferred Infinity Ward games or Treyarch games

I personally didnt like MW3 but some of my friends thought it was the best one released

I mostly like treyarch games more then infinty award mostly because treyarch had zombies in it

In my opinion COD4 was the best. I really dislike Ghosts, had a good campaign but the Multiplayer was bad. Lets hope its not the same when it comes to COD AW (Advanced Warfare)

CoD campaign have always been good in my opinion. As for the multiplayer, I can't nearly say the same. I can't wait to see what they show off at E3, hopefully it's mind blowing... as they think it'll be.
