Rumor: Halo 1-4 bundled in Master Chief Collection for Xbox One

The saga of Master Chief will be packaged up in Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One this year, Engadget reported. The bundle will seemingly combine Bungie's Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 as well as 343 Industries' contribution, Halo 4, into one HD-remastered pack.

The Master Chief Collection will apparently ignore Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach in order to hone in on the story of the iconic hero. The bundle would tide fans of the series over for the time being, as Halo 5: Guardians is slated to launch on Xbox One in fall 2015.

Are you **** retarded? The only one not on xbox 360 is halo 2 and that being made separately for 360 xD. The collection brings all the halos to a better framrate and 1080p (or close to it)


That doesn't make it not stupid. By bringing it to the Xbox One, not only will they be hurting their sales, but also the fans. Hardly anyone would be willing to buy a console for $500 just for a $60 game.
oh I didn't know havng an hd collection of games that were last gen on a new gen console would hurt sales. Sorry my mistake I must of read wrong that god of war , halo 1, jak and daxter,ffx sold terrible didnt they?


Um this would be a great thing to do as knowing 99% of the people I have seen on these forums were super excited just for a single Halo 2 remake, but if they did all at once up to Halo 4 that would be even better. So sales would sky rocket even better. And another thing this would only Market for probably $60. So please do this Microsoft you wont regret it ;)

I'm confused by what you mean. They aren't re-releasing Halo 4 again, it will only be bundled with the console. Wouldn't make any sense at all to remake a game that came out not even 2 years ago.
