The Division delayed to 2015 for all platforms

4.4
It appears that Tom Clancy's The Division has been pushed back into 2015 despite previous claims of being set for a late 2014 launch window. The only reason given officially by the development team was that they wished to not "compromise on quality" while also telling fans that they should expect the game "when it's ready." We'll have more information for you during E3 2014 next month.

Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don't want to . We are going to release the game when it's ready.Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment

NOOOOO! Was really excited for it to come out this year, but glad they aren't going to put out a half-baked game. Can't say that i'm not disappointed by the delay though.

Is this what this gen is gonna be all about? Delays? If so it's gonna suck.

Man this game sounds like a lot of fun to play, can't wait to see some gameplay later on!

Same but i could wait since watch dogs is around the corner.

In a way this is good, spending more time making it will result in a better game.

This delay was bound to happen since Far Cry 4 was revealed and set for a release date on 11/18/14. Before it was rumored to release early 2015, but I guess The Division swapped places with FC4. Glad they made that decision because The Division is gonna kick ass and if the delay means better quality, then so be it. Destiny, FC4, Watch Dogs will be keeping me busy until then.

Yin LOL, wow. I was actually looking forward to the game. I am guessing with all of these game delays, the developers really wasn't expecting to be this hard to make a next gen game. Or at least put it out on time. Give it a year or so and I hope they get it in line.

It's because they want a bigger user base to sell to so because Xbox One sales are crap just like the games on it we have to wait for it to sell more. It's ridiculous, seriously and it will still be full of bugs no doubt.

spidum Aaah that's frustrating. I need a game to actually get me to play my Xbone.

Exactly my thoughts. I don't even want one right now because there's nothing good to play and Watch Dogs won't last long for me. So even buying just that won't be enough.
