Next gen Minecraft will feature bigger but not infinite worlds

While many had hoped due to the "increased capabilities" of next gen consoles that they would indeed be able to furnish infinite Minecraft worlds like the PC iteration but it was not fate. 4J Studios has assured us that the PS4/Xbox One versions of the game will be "bigger" than current gen renditions of the game; this restriction has been blamed on the limit of size allowed when regarding save files on the respective consoles. The PS3 version of Minecraft is slated for release on March 14th while the next gen editions are expected to arrive in either "Q2/Q3" of this year.

You over estimate the power of these next gen consoles.
I would say they are "Low-End" PC's rather than averages ones.


Definitely not, maybe it's "low-end" graphics wise, but the 8GB ram is average you don't need 16GB just yet and the octa core processor is definitely high end and it all averages out to an average gaming computer. And even the graphics card is mid range as well I don't know how much you know about computers and whatnot but from the dozens of friends I know their PC's are just about "average."


You seem to be quite the expert. Can you show me some benchmarks or evidence supporting your claims?
