Destiny beta confirmed for July

Destiny's beta test will start in July, Activision announced Tuesday.

The publisher revealed the date during a presentation on its first-quarter 2014 financial results. The studio previously announced that it would open up the beta for its multiplayer shooter in summer.

The Destiny beta will be available first to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners, Bungie confirmed in November 2013.

Bungie has also released a new 7-minute gameplay video of the game in action, showcasing a Strike mission, which sees three players co-operate to complete a designated task.

The publisher announced on Tuesday that it had invested $500 million into the Destiny franchise, saying that "the stakes for us are getting bigger."

Destiny will release for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9.

Sage If you guys remember Halo 4 was giving out beta codes but im pretty sure he isnt anymore. So if you got one i hope to see you on the beta


I remember, I'm pretty sure I got one, I gotta find out where I put the code though, I think I emailed it to myself.

Yeah i got one from him but i think he's still giving them out i'm not sure though, i think there's someone else that gives them out here on ttg but i don't remember his name.

or you can pre order it to get the beta code and in game content :)
