DICE rolls out cross platform BF4 server patch

4.5
EA in conjunction with DICE has rolled out a cross-platform update for it's mega hit Battlefield 4 that alleviates the widely known issue of "Death Shields" while also implementing their Rent-A-Server program for all console platforms except the Xbox One. The Rent-A-Server program boasts prices ranging from $1.49 per day to $59.99 enabling players to enjoy a 90 day rental. Xbox One players have been temporarily excluded from the program relating to post-launch issues still plaguing the platform.

Gossip I don't really see the point in renting a server. I mean the only reason Id rent a server is to boost with my friends, but then again you can do that in a regular game and I don't even have this game. Plus I hate boosters.

Then why reply?
OT. I think this is an awesome idea I wish cod had cross platform to see who was the best. I played shadowrun on xbox and played with pc users and got owned

Clearly you haven't played in the servers on bf3. They were great.

This is a bit expensive, I won't be buying a server sadly. Mainly because it's too expensive.

To play on certain map rotations. People who rent servers can make it so it only plays, like, Operation Metro instead of any other map. Idk if BF4 has the same settings, but you can also increase tickets, so instead of 100 tickets for attackers, it can go to 300.
