Xbox One reaches Japan on September 4

The Xbox One launches in Japan on September 4, Microsoft announced this morning. The company didn't disclose a launch price or which launch titles to expect, but there are just over 40 confirmed Xbox One games for the country, including Titanfall, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy 15 and Sunset Overdrive.

Japan was previously confirmed as one of 26 territories expecting the system in September, but the other 25 remain without a concrete release date. The Xbox One launched in 13 regions back in November 2013, in which Microsoft has shipped 5 million units to date.

There are not as much Japanese people playing Microsoft games so that's why they waited. Why would you waste your game systems on a country that barely plays it?

Yeah Japan is so anti Xbox, they aren't stoked at all.

maby this is true i never even seen a japanese or chinese player and i had xbox live for 4 years

Yeah. I can't understand why they wouldn't release all at the same time, seems like a better marketing idea in my opinion.

It's because the Xbox brand is worthless in Japan, lifetime 360 sales were less than stellar.
