Elder Scrolls Online disables guild banks amid duping exploit

Zenimax Online has completely disabled Elder Scrolls Online's guild bank functionality on Friday due to a game devastating item duplication glitch. The glitch allowed players to easily dupe items by simply removing stacks of item from a guild bank is quick succession of one another in which created additional stacks of said item. The fallout of this situation is not currently known but it is clear that thousands of players have already been banned while their lasting negative effect on the ESO community at large is still being heavily felt.

Potion For those of you saying that the game is down for the week, you are wrong i am a subscriber and player to this game and the dupe glitch has been patched up and the server never went offline.


It said on this post "Servers will be down till Friday 25th."


The servers are currently online and the post does not say that so they must have gotten it wrong in the article.

I think it is stupid how you have to buy the game and then keep paying a membership to use it. That's why I didn't get the game

Katsumi Oh wow, i didn't really expect a duplication glitch like this to occur so early after release. Well i believe that it is a good idea that they have disabled guild banks for the time being in order to fix up the glitch. I was honestly considering purchasing The Elder Scrolls Online some time in the next fortnight but i may wait it out for a bit unless any new glitches come up. Hopefully this does not negatively impact on the game too much


So you're saying that the exploit was bad but you're only getting it for glitches? Seems legit.


Lol^ if your thinking of getting the damn game just **** buy it. All of these ******* are so scared to try a new game out.
