Xbox One Next System Update Preview Coming Soon

Microsoft’s April system update for the Xbox One is live and has issued several improvements in the form of better Kinect voice and gesture commands, progress bars for save files and apps, and improved Friend notifications. It seems the company is gearing up for its next system update fairly soon though, as a letter was sent out to previous participants for the next preview. Check out the letter below. Program manager Emily Hanson had written that, “The next system update for previewing will be starting soon, and you’re already registered. Come to the forum anytime, tell us new features you want to see, how to make your engagement with us better, or invite your friends.”
The May system update should be interesting since it’ll be arriving before E3 2014 where Microsoft will be showcasing its next wave of Xbox One titles. What new features are you looking forward to seeing? Let us know in the comments.

XprN I'm like how Microsoft are bringing out these updates monthly, but to me it seems like it is being staged for publicity or something. Everything is being planned and they could've brought these 'simple' updates with the console, because half these updates should have been already with the console


It's because they want to get it as much next gen as they can.

True true. They could just leave it as is though. At least they are making some progress.

There OS At the start of Xbox One was terrible. Atleast it works now

What does OS stand for? What was wrong with it?


Operating System, and at the moment it is really slow and buggy, for me it is anyways.


your not alone it takes age to do or "snap" anything while playing a game that feature is unusable as far as im concerned its just to laggy.

Yeah it completely bogs down the console trying to snap during a game.

I think its better if they do them every month, at least then you will see the changes progress as they update them.

Well it's a new console, a lot of updates soon after the consoles launch is kind of expected

Didn't 360 have a lot of updates in the first year as well?

It's just tweaking.
