Microsoft crediting players for March Xbox Live outage

4.4
Microsoft is issuing a free week of Xbox Live Gold for Xbox One owners who were unable to log into the service for a brief period of time last month, IGN reports.

The offer arrives in response to a service interruption on March 11, which emerged in the wake of Titanfall's release. The outage affected player matchmaking in Forza Motorsport 5 and Titanfall, and was resolved later in the evening.

Microsoft is currently informing affected users of the offer via Xbox Live's messaging service. Xbox Live Gold compensatory credit will be issued "soon."

Nice to see Microsoft giving a week for a day down

I think that is a very great thing to do. They are giving them a whole week for just one missed day.

That's very nice and responsible of Microsoft to do! A week is a long time for it only being out a couple of hours.

I'm glad they rewarded these players for their lost of playing time...

I can see that this is a widespread outage at that time. Since I saw many people receiving compensation.

It's good to see that it's free. And you don't have to pay for it.

-LOST- I wonder if they're going to issue a code or just add it directly to the account.
They are more than likely gonna send a code through xbox live messaging
