Xbox 360 receives MLG app

4.6
Today the Xbox 360 received a Major League Gaming app intending to bring live-streamed content directly to the console. The application is only usable by Xbox Live Gold subscribers as usual and should allow access to coverage of MLG tournaments, their weekly eSports report, and live coverage of this month's Call of Duty Championship. There has been no news of a MLG application for the Xbox One or any other platform yet, stay tuned.

We continue to deliver content on Xbox that we know our audience craves and MLG's premium programming was something we saw a high demand for.

We are excited to bring the best in competitive gaming directly to our community with the addition of the MLG app on Xbox 360.Xbox VP of marketing Yusuf Mehdi

Oasis No thanks. Gaming is a hobby not a job.

Coming from the person who spends hours a day gaming and on a forum, and has no money. There are also those out there who do well for themselves solely through paying video games.

Its funny how when I was watching the Qualifiers I tweeted at MLG on twitter to make a app for the 360. Guess they did.

Doesn't matter you're obviously not good enough to make it pro. You wouldn't be saying that if you were good.

you can still be good and not go pro, look at athletes (sure two different things but same concept)

Tell that to the pros who make bank off tournaments and live streaming.

I will defiantly be using this. I use to watch every big tourney every year but I don't enjoy watching cod ghosts comp wise. I hope the next cod is better for competitive then ghosts. Black ops 2 was by far for me the best game competitive wise for me. I also liked black ops 1 and mw3 but not as much as bo2. I wonder if titanfall would turn big on competitive I would love that.
