Xbox One best-selling console in UK, but PS4 remains in control

Xbox One is the best-selling console four weeks running, according to a report on MCV. Sales are up due to three factors: shortages of PlayStation 4, a £30 price cut, and the release of Titanfall – the latter of which helped Xbox One sales increase by 96%. Despite the recent increase in sales, Sony’s PlayStation 4 is still “in control,” according to retailers, and next week’s figures may tell a different tale with a replenishment in stock. A new PS4 shipment arrived last weekend, giving the console a 72% boost in sales. MCV was informed extra stock of the console would land in stores in time for infamous: Second Son’s release – which was yesterday.

you both are fanboys. I believe that PS4 is a better console that is why it was my first choice however that won't stop me from getting Xbox One sometime in near future (I've switched from xbox360 never had ps3)

I got a ps4 and I don't regret it at all. I think its a better console than the xbox one.

It's so funny watching all of you and others trying to take the moral high ground when in reality my post was a joke, designed to ruffle the feathers, and guess what, it worked. It'll continue to work as long as there are people like all of you that can't resist chiming it with your two cents about "how good they both are" or "how you've been a fan since whenever".

If you all took a step back and got off your high horse you would of seen the joke, but instead you were all blinded by your own self righteousness.

IM not sure how many of you have put quality time into both consoles. But after playing both of them for some time i can say that the xbox one beats the ps4.

I'm a die hard xbox user since 02 I remember when live first came out I got it for Christmas but anyway with that being said I had a ps2 but only played God of War. The point being Im not paying 500 dollars for an xbox when it does pretty much all the same crap as my old one. Oh wait it has better graphics, but I dont think it really worth it to buy one not only that you cant play with your friends who dont have it, one BIG fail in my eye..... LET THE HATING BEGIN!!!

In 2-weeks I'm grabbing a xbox One w/Titanfall & Forza 5 :)

your right , they are both fanboys as i grew up using the ps1 and ps2 , then i was pressured by my friends to get a 360 and i loved it , but both companies ahave brilliant consoles as i solely became an xbox fan but i have both new gen consoles and i love them the same , just kids being fanboys nowadays , give it a by -_-

I think the PS4 could be doing a lot better in sales if it had Titanfall, I know that's what helped get the Xbox One a lot of sales.

Xbox one is doing good in my area as they are all ways out of stock compared to the ps4.
