Rumor: Far Cry 4 to stalk the Himalayas in 2015

The next entry in Ubisoft's expansive, open-world Far Cry franchise will arrive in the first half of next year, according to a Eurogamer report.

Citing unnamed "people familiar with the project," Eurogamer claims that the game will forgo another romp through the jungles in favor of a visit to the Himalaya mountain range. Gameplay details are scant, but Eurogamer believes that the new setting will offer players wholly novel activities such as riding on elephants, while the fan-favorite hunting sections will make a return with local fauna as prey. Far Cry 4 is reportedly heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and we can expect to hear more details on the game at E3 2014 in June.

When reached for comment, Ubisoft was unwilling to discuss Far Cry 4, though representatives say they'll have more information for us if and when such a title enters development.

ShadowBoltDashie I still haven't played Far Cry 3, a lot of people told me it was good, but I was very skeptical of playing Far Cry 3 after not really liking Far Cry 2. Maybe I'll give Far Cry 3 a chance and if I like it, get Far Cry 4 when it's released.


I played Far Cry 2 and i thought it was bad the Far Cry 3 was soo much better and the story line was amazing but i cant wait for this game hope its good as i have high hopes for this game.

If you want to talk bad farcry, lets talk far cry 2. IMO that game was horrible.

OT: Hopefully this game can top the beast that was farcry 3.

I have heard countless things about Far Cry 3, like some people said it was the best game they have ever played. Others have said it's decent, and other people have told me they just don't like it.
