Bulletstorm disappears from Steam

4.7
2011 shooter Bulletstorm is no longer available on Steam, having disappeared from the marketplace earlier in the week. No reason has been given for the game's removal and we've reached out to publisher EA and co-developer Epic Games for comment, but suspicions are it's linked to Games for Windows Live. It's believed (but not yet confirmed) GFWL will be discontinued on July 1, and without an update that could make Bulletstorm one of a number of unplayable PC games. The game remains available on Origin at the time of writing, but that version also uses GFWL.

Co-developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly, now Epic Games Poland, Bulletstorm is a first-person shooter romp in which players perform Skillshot murders with style, finesse, and variety to rack up high scores. It may sound artful and it's definitely a blast to play, but high culture it ain't. To remind you of some of the Skillshot names: Rear Entry, Nutcracker, Assplosion, and Meat Fountain.

I thought bulletstorm was pretty great. At least campaign was anyway, it actually felt original and was interesting, unlike most fps games out now

Online wasn't that good. I guess that single player could've been better as well but I didn't think it was that good of a game.

The single player was good but the online is terrible

ShadowBoltDashie
daRealRush I have never played the game, but apparently not that many people really liked the game. I heard it wasn't that good of a game.

I checked around and a good majority of people liked it, just as some users said in this topic, players weren't too happy about online play. I don't know how it was as I never played the game, but I'll leave it at that, maybe I'll watch a few online gameplays to see how it was, but that still might not be enough for me to decide on as I'm personally not playing it.

It has a good story line to the game so the story is good but the multiplayer is bad but iv only played it few times my self.

I have this game, they completely ruined online and made it horrible. Maybe thats why they took it down.

Plaed it once at a friends house and it was ok.
Not worth the buy though. This doesn't affect me. I'm sure there are some distraught Bulletstorm fans out there though. Sorry about that!
