Xbox One Skype client receives first update

The Xbox One's Skype application has been updated with a few improvements with the most notable being improved chat and new contact filtering options. It also positively tweaks the synchronization of conversations between multiple Skype-enabled devices. It is intended to all your conversations "in sync" and work to reduce the number of messages you may miss.

Improved chat is now synchronized and comes with push notifications, alerting you when a new message arrives, and providing a longer chat history - up to 1,000 messages, rather than just the past 7 days.Skype

Yeah skype doesnt bother me on the xbox , I stick to using my laptop. I think it would put me off more on the xbox if gaming

Maybe you can if you have premium skype? Im not sure havent used it on xbox

Its not really needed IMO but i am glad they are making the chat history longer cause i tend to look back on skype conversations.


Personally the push notifications are a must have.

Good thing they are updating it my, i always message my friends and they don't get notifications until they manually check.
