Titanfall patch released to combat launch issues

4.4
Respawn has released a Titanfall patch designed to combat "early issues" on PC and Xbox One.

"We've just pushed a patch that's now recovering servers quickly," the studio said on Tuesday morning. "Players will load into Private Lobbies much faster and we're continuing to monitor. Thanks for sticking with us on launch night, we appreciate your support!"

Respawn's debut game is now available on PC and Xbox One in North America ahead of its rollout in other regions throughout the rest of the week. The Xbox 360 Titanfall release date is March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Respawn co-founder and Call of Duty co-creator Vince Zampella said on Tuesday: "Creating Titanfall has really been an incredible journey for our team at Respawn and we're excited to be able to finally get the game we've been making into everyone's hands. We're a small, tight-knit team, and I'm proud to have come together with them over these last few years to create something that we think pushes the boundaries and is above all else fun."

ROI I hate the new strategy from developers, they launch broken games and patch them later. Battlefield 4 is a prime example.

Well, it's not like they know this stuff will happen. There's always issues when games first launch.

They should at least have the game playable. They SHOULD now what will happen, there's a reason for bug testing.
Devs would rather just milk consumers, than released a polished game.

daRealRush This should fix most if not all the bugs in the game that has been reported.

That's what they will try to do.

Miss Good to hear. Hopefully it'll cut back on most if not all the glitches/bugs it has, if it has any on launch.

Yeah, but I didn't experience any problems with the beta so hopefully they're pretty good with the glitchlessness of the game.

blog Wow already needs fixing, that is pretty funny and go ahead hate and say "All new games need fixes."

Name one game that launched perfectly...

blog... I see you post alot. You are an idiot. I don't hate you, I just think you should think before you post nonsense like that.

The fact is, thanks to Azure, updates can be made available whenever the devs feel like it, they don't even have to let us know, but they do. If your going to post "Wow already needs fixing, that is pretty funny..." after update then you're even less intelligent that you already look.

Some games that never needed fixing was Mortal Combat the old one, Mario 3Ds, and many many more these developers need to hire a lot more beta testers for these games and sooner or later all the errors will be fixed.

There is only so much you can test with lan testers and even beta tests don't put enough stress on the systems to fully check everything. Only full blown world wide variables
show up every bug, code error and exploit. And even then, it can take weeks to find them.

As for your 'old' games, the MK you mean was probably an arcade title for years before you no doubt played it, being basically tested by anyone that walked up to it and put money in. As for Mario, that game SHOULD run 99% perfect out of the box considering how long it's history is and how many times it's been repackaged.
