Titanfall to require 840MB day one update

4.3
If you decided to purchase a physical copy of Titanfall, it is your lucky day you are the proud winner of a fantastic 840MB day one update. While this isn't too much of a patch compared to Dead Rising's mega 13GB update it will still delay you from experiencing Titanfall. Titanfall launches for Xbox One and PC this Tuesday, March 11th.

Not even that bad, will only take a couple of hours

That's not a bad amount, BF3 updates were larger than that.

Invictus Oh well, my internets fast.
The DR3 update took 5 minutes

HOW? What kind of god internet do you have?

internet that doesn't suck obviously :P. i also downloaded that update in like 5 minutes.

As already stated, that's impossible with Microsoft's limits, so you're exaggerating quite a bit

not at all? my DL speed is 50MB and i DL things quickly very quickly. a game takes me around an hour give or take a few minutes here and there.

Axe What could dead rising possibly be updating to have it be 13gb? thats crazy.

A whole 'nother game.. Seriously though developers don't use any compression methods anymore.

By itself it seems big but compared to Dead Rising its nothing

Impossible, you would have had to maintain 45 MBps or 355Mbps to do that. Microsoft does not allow their servers to go higher than 100Mbps downloading to your console. You also (99.9999% sure) do not have anywhere close to that kind of internet speed.

You're correct about the MS server limitations, but who's to say he doesn't have google fiber?(or some other equivelant)
He is still not right, but Fiber can easily hit those speeds.
