Dark Souls 2 PC system requirements outlined

Earlier this week Namco Bandai confirmed the exact Dark Souls 2 PC released date and PC specifications. The title arrives for the PC on April 25th a week after the March 11th North American PS3 and Xbox 360 release.

The exact PC requirements can be found below:

Minimum:

OS: Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8
Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 555 3.2Ghz or Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo E8500 3.17Ghz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9600GT, ATI Radeon HD 5870
Hard Drive: 8 GB available space
Sound Card: Compatible with DirectX 9.0c or higher


Recommended:

OS: Windows 7 SP1
Processor: Intel Core i3 2100 3.10GHz or AMD A8 3870K 3.0GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 or higher, ATI Radeon HD 6870 or higher
Hard Drive: 8 GB available space
Sound Card: Compatible with DirectX 9.0c or higher

Jovetic I can run this game past recommended but I don't feel like breaking my keyboard over my knee so I don't think I'll get it lol. I haven't tried Dark Souls 1 yet but I heard it's terribly hard. I also heard the PC Port is very bad.


The PC port for the first one is awful but the second seems like it will be fine.

Ah, i can't wait to download this game, i loved the first one so this has to be a good one.

Dang, these are some really low requirements. I'm surprised there wasn't a need for more GPU power.

Pretty low end specs, guessing optimization if 100x better than the first one.
