Early Titanfall players with legit copies won't be banned

Respawn Entertainment doesn't intend to ban Titanfall users playing legitimately purchased copies of the game ahead of its official release.

Those with early copies of the game will be able to get a head start building up their Generation rank, although Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella says there may be some service downtime over the coming days.

Publisher EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13 in Europe. The Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Earlier this week, EA announced a Titanfall DLC season pass. It will provide access to three post-launch add-on packs, each of which will contain new maps and further, yet to be determined content.

It's good to see they ain't doing what Microsoft was trying to do when the Xbox One was released. Trying to ban someone for playing there console early, when it's not even there fault they got it early.

R33 Good its not the purchasers fault that they get their copy of the game early, as long as they have paid for it and its legit then i dont see any harm


exactly the way it should be a few other companys are quick to ban or reset someone because they got the game early legit

Respawn Entertainment seems like the best games company to surface on a exclusive for as long as I can remember. They seem so relaxed and easy going with any matters that will arise. :)

Yeah it is a great thing that they are doing with this, I believe so that Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Rockstar, etc they ban people that are playing early.
