Call of Duty: Ghosts Devastation DLC landing soon

Activision and Infinity Ward have let out the contents of their timed-exclusive Devastation on Thursday and is set to include four new competitive maps, a new episode of the Extinction co-op campaign, and a new weapon. The DLC includes four maps named Ruins, Behemoth, Collision, and Unearthed and they vary from small to medium in size. This content also adds to the game Extinction Episode 2: Mayday, it continues the story of the cryptic menace that adds a new aliens type and Venom X modifications.

The last notable addition is the "Ripper", it is a hybrid weapon that allows those who wield it to convert the weapon into either a SMG or assault rifle firing mode. Those who own a Call of Duty: Ghosts season pass have had access to the weapon as of last Thursday, all others have to wait til April.

Call of Duty: Ghosts' Devastation DLC shows up first for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on April 3rd.

It does look pretty cool, I would of bought it if I had the MSP/Currency.

I thought the ripper was going to be good, but it really isn't, it takes way too long to get kills, but I do like how it is a SMG and AR in one.

I only like the cats in space camo. Captain Price one is okay too.


I think that they are really working on things though since launch. I am glad that Infinity Ward is actually bring some great things to the game.

So mw3 and cod ousts are the same thing? Okay.


I don't think he meant literally, but MW2 and 3 were pretty much the exact same besides killstreaks, guns and maps, and yes all CoDs are extremely similar. You can compare the CoD series to Android: Google makes an operating system that is pretty much the same on all of their phones and for all the versions, and all of these other phone companies use and tweak it to their preference(sometimes for the worse) just like IW made a game that has been the same forever and now Treyarch and Sedgehammer Games are tweaking the games and adding their own style to it. All Android OS's - very similar. All CoDs - very similar.


Of course all Call of Duty games are similar. They're the same freaking series of games. That's like pointing out the fact that all Batman games are alike. Their are always differences in the way the game plays and in game content but it's still an action game based on war. The same as all Battlefield games are similar.

Anyway, this DLC sounds not bad and the ripper sounds like a good gun.

Cokes Ghosts is an absolute atrocious game. This DLC will get boring after 4 games.

I agree as well, the DLC really doesn't change, but after watching some of the videos, the DLC looks pretty good to be honest.


i got the first Dlc the first day i played like 3 games of extinction then i never touch ghost since

Olaf None of these maps look like something I want to play at all.

I should not have purchased the season pass.


The maps don't look too good but the only thing i'm interested in is the new weapon and the extinction map.
