Titanfall season pass detailed

4.3
EA has detailed the recently confirmed Titanfall season pass.

It will provide access to three planned DLC packs, each of which will contain new maps. All other content is still to be determined and will be announced closer to release, according to a season pass FAQ.

The season pass is priced at $24.99 in North America, offering a $5 saving when compared to buying the three packs individually. The PC version of the season pass is available to purchase now and costs £19.99 in the UK.

Users will be able to purchase the Titanfall season pass at participating retailers from March 11 for Xbox One and March 25 for Xbox 360. It hasn't been specified if the UK Xbox season passes will also be priced at £19.99.

For Origin PC gamers, EA has also confirmed a Titanfall Digital Deluxe pack including both Titanfall and the season pass for £59.99/$79.99.

Speaking earlier this week about the season pass, Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella said the studio will be offering a range of free and paid post-launch content for its debut game, noting: "There are things that we want in the game that we didn't get to ship in the final game. So we'll add private matches and things like that for free."

EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13 in Europe. The Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

blog I guess this is cool, but you shouldn't really be hyped over this, this is mainly a CoD remake with robots.

I am sorry you feel that way, did you even play the beta? This game is much more then the already excellent AI system (that is really just a distraction system for the actual players) but there is also the titans, and the players themselves with a completely different feel than and CoD game.

I wasn't saying it to be rude, I do know that there is many other things to the game I am just saying.

Bagged It does look just like CoD. But I'm looking forward to it.

Trust me it's nothing like cod...

The season pass looks very nice, it might not be useful for me since i don't see myself playing this game like i did with COD but it's pretty much necessary to have a season pass nowadays.

So, they are only releasing 3 DLCs. Well that bites, I figured they would release 4 instead of 3. But, I am still happy with getting some new DLCs instead of none.

This is crap just another cash grab by EA. No wonder they were labeled worst company in america two years in a row. I am not gonna buy any more of EA's games and I have not for almost 3 years.

Oasis Will wait a week after playing to see if I still dig it, then I'll probably get the pass. Even of it's 3 maps per pack it's another 9 to total 21? Not bad.

$25 for it isn't that bad though.

Definitely going to be picking this up. I think it's well worth it considering other season style pass things are usually $50.

In their defense though, they usually offer more than 3 map packs.
