Titanfall on PC is a 21GB download, requires 48GB install

4.6
The PC version of Titanfall will be a 21GB download, and will take up 48GB when installed.

Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella confirmed the figures on Twitter last week in response to a question posed by a fan.

Zampella also used the social networking site to reconfirm that the Xbox One version of Titanfall will take up less than 20GB when installed.

In late February, Microsoft announced a limited edition Xbox One Titanfall console bundle. It features special edition Titanfall packaging, an Xbox One console, Kinect sensor, standard wireless controller and chat headset, one month Xbox Live Gold membership and a digital copy of Respawn's shooter.

While publisher EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe, the Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Valor This is a lot of memory required for the game. Wow.

It does seem a bit high but most PC gamers have a few TB of storage, myself I have 6TB so 48GB is nothing really.

-Jacob They obviously aren't very good at compressing the files. Games like BF4 are a lot more demanding (more textures and shitt) but a smaller

Definately, there is no way this game should take up that much, it doesn't even have a campaign.

That is what is odd, a game that has a multiplayer and campaign is smaller in size, but a game that has multiplayer and no campaign is a bigger... Weird.
