DICE has released the first few screenshots of the upcoming DLC known as Naval Strike. The expansion back is slated for launch in late March for Battlefield Premium subscribers, two weeks later it will go on sale to the rest of BF4's playerbase. Naval Strike contains four new maps set in the area of the South China Sea, five new weapons, a amphibious hovercraft vehicle, ten new assignments, and the new Carrier Assault game mode(homage to BF2142s Titan mode).
Naval Strike is just one of the five BF4 expansion packs due for general release by summer 2014; China Rising, Second Assault, Naval Strike, Dragon's Teeth, and Final Stand.
The hovercraft seems really nice and something new that we haven't seen before in battle field. I really think that the Island hopping that you will be doing in the DLC is very neat and the downed plane reminds me a lot of both Black Box and Cove from Call of Duty.
