Both Apple and Google stopping new apps with 'Flappy' in title

4.4
Both Apple and Google are now rejecting new apps with the word "Flappy" in their title. According to Indie developler Ken Carpenter and his recent tweet his upcoming game, Flappy Dragon, had failed the approval process for the iOS app store.

According to Carpenter, Apple told him his app was in violation of the below section of App Store Review Guidelines:

22.2: Apps that contain false, fraudulent or misleading representations will be rejected

We found that your app, and/or its metadata, contains content that could be misleading to users, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.

We found your app name attempts to leverage a popular app.App Store Review Guidelines

How do you feel about Apple and Google refusing to publish games attempting to capitalize on the recently pulled Flappy Bird?

Invictus That's not true, I have flappy wings
It's rather good.

No it actually is pretty bad, I hate when they make other games after a popular one.

Aftercast Good, but what about jumpy jack... Hoppy frog. Smh

That is what i was thinking, There are far to many apps that have just stolen flappy birds code but changed the bird into something else and renamed it. They should just stop with all the stupid apps now the game is far to over rated anyway.

Lol that guy is raging just because he can't make any money for robbing a game and changing it from a bird to a dragon.
