Video: Titanfall developers offer some tips for the beta

4.5
EA has released a new video with tips for those playing the Titanfall beta.

The video will teach you some helpful tips, such as how to maintain momentum when parkouring around maps, and how to defend against rodeos.

The Titanfall beta include access to three game modes; Attrition, Hardpoint Domination and Last Titan Standing.

Attrition is a basic kill-everything deathmatch. Hardpoint Domination is a Battlefield-style base-capture mode in which teams fight to capture and protect three bases on the map for points. Last Titan Standing is similar to Counter Strike - a round-based mode in which everyone has a single life and only one Titan with no respawning, and rounds end when a team is completely eliminated.

There has been no mention of a beta for the Xbox 360 version. The Xbox 360 edition, handled by Bluepoint, was delayed until March 25 earlier this month.

Titanfall is the first title from Respawn Entertainment, a new studio comprised of a number of former Call of Duty developers.

Bap This really does look like an amazing game. I wasn't on board for the hype with first news months ago, but having seen the gameplay and playing for myself in the Beta, it's absolutely amazing. I'm super stoked for the release

I'm still not on board for the hype which makes me think this game will be better for me because it will exceed my expectations.

I'm playing the beta and the more you play, the more you realize that there's so much to do.. This game's no way like Homrfront, if you ask me, but it's also not a cod-killer. Nothing will kill cod, but cod itself. With that being said, yeah, I'd still buy this game & I'd still recommend it to friends. It's FUN.

Is it wrong that I enjoy free running more than blowing stuff up? I think I enjoy the chase more than the kill, which is a good thing. Really nice game.

GILF for all you that have played the beta
can I ask you whether you think this is the cod killer ?

This is definitely not a CoD killer. I actually realized how overhyped this game was and will not be making the $60 purchase. Titanfall is going to be another Homefront in the stance of how everyone thought it was going to be great and it was one of the biggest disappointments. I'm glad I got a beta code so I could realize how much I actually do not want the game.
Are you really that disappointed? Im playing the beta right now and I think the game is great but for now I dont think it will be the cod killer maybe in the future with a titanfall 2 but I would really recommend buying this game
