I don’t have all the details - Major Nelson on late Xbox One update

4.4
The Xbox One first major system update has not been labeled with a solid release date yet and the face of Xbox news, Major Nelson, has made it very clear that it is still "too risky" to be commenting on possible timeframes for the update.

We previously reported on the Xbox One update slated for release in March here , the first update was expected out on Febuary 11th. That date came and passed without a actual release, the update was intended to add hard drive management and a battery meter for your controller.

I don’t have all the details. Things are moving quickly and all the teams are working extra hard. I don’t really like giving dates either. Too risky.Major Nelson via reddit

It is unclear on what is going on over at Redmond right now but we'll keep you informed on what we dig up regarding the *missing* update.

What do you think is holding things up with the system update?

They need to hurry up with this update! Already teased people to much with it! Microsoft are so slow

I just want the new update already they gave us a teaser and I'm really anticipating it... What I think is holding them up is the new invite system or the new sort of un categorized party. System
