Xbox One party and multiplayer update before Titanfall in March

The incoherent party and friend systems on the Xbox One aren't ready for Titanfall - not even in Microsoft's opinion. A system update scheduled for March 4 will introduce "many new features and improvements, most significantly to our party and multiplayer systems," Microsoft has announced.

Microsoft has not divulged details yet, but says a new party and multiplayer system will be in place prior to Titanfall's arrival on March 11, 2014. The futuristic multiplayer shooter, which sees combatants run across walls and jostle around in muscular mechs, is viewed as one of the Xbox One's flagship games, though it is also being developed for PC by Respawn Entertaiment, and for Xbox 360 by Bluepoint Games.

If all goes according to plan, we'll be inviting you to our party with just a few effortless presses on that snazzy Titanfall controller.

NV_Lobbys Xbone parties are absolutely terrible. Every 10 minutes it kicks you out of the "voice part" of the party and you have to get out of your game to re-enable it. Also, what's up with them ditching profiles? All our "profiles" are now is a picture, your GT and your gamerscore. M$ went backwards with the Xbone's UI. They should have just taken the 360 one, re-skinned it to fit the One and left all the core features we have gotten used to and enjoy.


thats exactly what the ps4 did. there is nothing new or good about it no idea why people like it. atlest the xbox one is new and trying to do great things. sure it started off rough but nows it doing great.

Well first its $100 cheaper, it gets Planetside 2 for free, and people who bought PS3 are probably going PS4 this time around. Also, PC Master Race. Anything you can do we can do better.

ive never had problems in parties but i have heard lots of people complain

Can't wait, the party system is alright currently but needs some changes to make it more user friendly.

Don't think so, I think it's an Xbox One issue only.
