Rockstar discounts GTA 5, GTA 4 and GTA DLC on Xbox Live

Rockstar has discounted the price of Grand Theft Auto games and DLC on Xbox Live.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers can pick up Rockstar's latest opus, Grand Theft Auto 5, for £33.49/$40.19, or opt for its predecessor Grand Theft Auto 4 for £8.99/$9.99.

On the DLC front, GTA 4's The Ballad of Gay Tony is currently on sale for £5.39/$7.99, while The Lost and Damned is available for £3.37/$4.99.

Rockstar has announced it has shipped a total of around 32.5 million copies of Grand Theft Auto 5. The title is closing in on the best best-selling console game of all time record. Currently, the best-selling console game of all time (not bundled) is Mario Kart Wii, at 34 million units.

GTA 5 was released on September 17 and generated $800 million in worldwide sales in a single day, with GTA 5 revenues reaching $1 billion after just three days.

iOS8 I don't like GTA 5 anymore due to online hacking. So I probably won't be buying this anytime soon.


They are banning everybody now that has hacked, I really enjoy online.


I haven't been banned. Actually, my time as a cheater (which was originally 9 months) just ended last week.


I have not been slapped with the ban hammer yet. Hopefully I won't at all.

I just realised, they sell the games cheaper in the US than the UK, not too sure about Europe. I'm surprised that there's anybody out there that hasn't ever bought either one of these games

It was a great game that many said got boring quickly. Its because we all played it non-stop from beginning of release!

Still counts as a sale. This sale says it all about r*, they're more concerned about beating Mario Kart than sorting the game out.


Yeah 90% mate, your a long way off, I can assure you that! The game has some twists and turns, but it is still a great game.
