Titanfall PC specs not on the low end

Respawn's Co-founder tweeted out the minimum pc specifications for their upcoming title, Titanfall. Compared to other games that are currently holding the attention of the masses, the specs required are a grade above the norm.


Minimum requirements:
64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
4GB RAM
512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT


What do you think of the specs being required for the PC version, high or low of what you expected?

Much lower than I expected. Most people have PC's with MUCH better specs than these anyway.

Well it's obviously a pretty strange choice for a 'work' laptop if it has a powerful graphics card


I don't think you understand, that's not a powerful gpu. The specs are extremely low, almost any computer could run Titanfall, it uses an ancient engine.


the 8800gt is a pretty poor card.

yea, any good gaming computer comes with this to begin with and if it doesn't it shouldn't be considered a gaming computer.

maybe they mean that titanfall is not made for 100 or 200 dollar PCs
