Battlefield 4 double XP weekend for Premium users

DICE has confirmed a Battlefield 4 double XP weekend event will start on Saturday.

BF4 players who have paid for Premium status will begin receiving a 100 percent boost to all points earned in matches from 2am Pacific/10am UK time.

Although no end time was stated, we expect the promotion to run through to early Monday morning.

DICE has recently released updates for all versions of Battlefield 4. For the latest information on each platform, check here for the PC patch, here for the PS3 and PS4 patches, here for the Xbox One patch and here for Xbox 360.

All updates focused on stability issues, single-player save file corruption errors and various gameplay bugs and tweaks which have plagued the game since launch.

In December, DICE announced that it was halting work on Battlefield 4 DLC development until it fixed a number of the game's major issues.

It is nice that they have committed to working on making the game the best it could be before releasing the DLC and I am sure that because they don't have a set game schedule like COD that they can commit more time to the experience to the people.

Wow, only for premium users? I guess it's a brilliant marketing technique to get people to pay for premium, but just seems so unfair. Just make it double XP for everyone lol.

Like ATX said, premium members should get it monthly and normal users should get it on special occasions.

Axe I don't think that they should make it only for the people who have paid 60$ for premium. Thats just stupid in my opinion.


I also think that it's pretty stupid. I guess we are talking about EA here though


Premium users= Perm double XP
Normal users= Double XP every month

That's what i'd do if i owned EA


Permanent double XP for premium users would make them a little too advantaged over normal players if you ask me.

but shouldn't they? I mean we did buy the game twice basically


i think it should be premium users get double XP every month and normal users get it only on special occasions
