Titanfall open beta 'possible', says community manager

Game currently in limited alpha trial period ahead of March release

Respawn Entertainment hasn't ruled out a Titanfall open beta, according to Abbie Heppe, community manager for both the studio and the upcoming game.

Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella said in December that Respawn is considering a Titanfall beta.

The studio is currently running what it has called "a limited technical test" for the game on Xbox One. It is unclear how many users have been invited to this alpha trial.

Publisher EA has confirmed a Titanfall release date of March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13 in Europe. The title will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

Officially revealed at E3 in July 2013, Titanfall went on to be named Best of Show at the E3 Game Critics Awards.

Yeah, I have a 360. Probs not getting an xbone but PS4 I'm getting. I hope it is still good on 360 :(

you might not be. The game is incredible in alpha.


I heard that the Alpha version was buggy but that's how it is with any game. I'm sure it'll look completely different when it's officially released.


Maybe that's why they extended the playtime.

Yeah true true, im currently not excited for the game but that may change.


Have you seen all the current gameplay videos? It looks marvelous. Even the videos that advertise the Titans are awesome.

I had a blast with the Alpha i really enjoyed it, It made me go out and preorder the game lol i had so much fun on it a little bit buggy but it was a Alpha over i can't wait for the game it's going to be amazing!
