70 Leaked Titanfall screenshots escape 'closed alpha' test

In-game shots show soldier training missions and combat

Unsurprisingly, screenshots of the Titanfall closed alpha test have leaked online.

The shots, shared via AGB, appear to offer a look at the game's extensive player tutorial missions, called 'Pilot Training Modules'.

They show plain hallways where new gameplay mechanics are introduced, seemingly before players are thrown into more lifelike environments for combat training. Screenshots of a button layout screen suggest these shots are taken from the Xbox One version of the game.

Developer Respawn Entertainment kicked off a closed 'technical test' this week, sending invites out to only a select few players.

Revealing no specifics on the trial itself, the studio told eager fans that participants would not be allowed to report on the game or share media from it, although under these circumstances widespread leaks are typically inevitable.

It is unclear how many users have been let into the alpha trial, but it is widely suggested that invites are being sent at random to Battlefield 4 players with a registered Origin account.

The Titanfall release date is March 11, according to EA's schedule. The highly anticipated Respawn Entertainment shooter is generally considered as a key asset for Microsoft and its Xbox business. It will ship on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

ArmoredHazmat Who needs screen shots when I got invited to the alpha trial! lol

The people who didn't get invited to the alpha trial maybe?
What a dipsh*t...

Are you jelly Vampiric? Haha your jelly

I find it hard to believe they'd invite a child who can't distinguish the difference between "your" and "you're". They didn't invite you so stop making lies up. Not to mention but also, Vampric was replying to your comment about how people who aren't invited want to see photos and videos, not crud from people like you who make up lies about "Oh I'm in the alpha".
Bonus fact; it's a Alpha test that requires users to give feedback to improve the game, not just sit in a limited "trial".

Note
ibeatuman are u people that dumb this game is a ripoff of cod and bf combine is nice to see that developer come out with fresh idea (sarcasm)

Completely incorrect and that comment has stupidity all over it.
If anything, Titanfall will be like a more advanced Halo game, in my opinion. This game can't relate to CoD or BF in no way apart from it being a FPS.
This game looks awesome, it's something new.

I wouldn't call it exactly "new". I believe it's a twist on Blacklight:Retribution with larger mechs and a price tag that allows for better development. BL:R has "hardsuits" that are mech suits people can get into and fight from. Although not as large in scale to the Titans in Titanfall, still a same concept. Both games are multiplayer only. Both games feature futuristic scenarios involving mechs. Both games are FPS. The largest difference between the two is that one has parkour and the other is F2P.
