New Nintendo eShop releases: Unepic, Castlevania 2, F1 Race Stars

4.7
Things are still a bit slooooooow as far as new eShop content goes - that headline covers all of this week's new releases - but hey, let's pick apart the bones.

Unepic has been around since 2011, but today marks its debut on Wii U. It's a platformer with RPG elements, evoking classic D&D and NES-style gameplay - or, in the words of Nintendo's own blurb, "Unepic is a mixture of platform game, role game and joke that takes place in a huge castle of medieval fantasy. It is set in the eighty's style, but completed with the most actual features."

Ahem. As for F1 Race Stars Powered Up Edition, the Wii U edition of Codies' cutesy karter adds four tracks, nine accessory packs, and motion and tilt controls for a GamePad steering wheel. Also, there's Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest to keep the Virtual Console ticking along.

Lastly but not leastly, Etrian Odyssey Untold is half-off at $20 until January 27.

Nice to see stuff like this coming from nintendo.

Calyx This is pretty useless, although Nintendo are trying to make money anywhere they can.

Saying this is useless is like saying the apple app store is useless.

Int I officially don't own any more Nintendo products at all probably wont ever again.

I only have a 3DS mainly because I want to play Super Smash Bros when it comes out.

You should look into picking up some other games like Bravely Default, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Pokemon X/Y and Fire Emblem: Awakening if you have the console.

Int I always liked psp better, always will.

I personally think that they both have their strengths and weaknesses. The main thing bringing the PSVITA down is the lack of games at this point in time

PSVita is very cool, but im going to tell my brother about this

I've just liked the graphics better and the games like GTa, old school stuff man.
