CoD: Ghosts Onslaught lets you play as Halloween’s Michael Myers

Activision has pumped out a big preview for Onslaught, the CoD DLC featuring new Extinction content, fresh maps and the Maverick rifle. And a horror icon. Watch the video here.

Episode 1: Nightfall is the first of four Extinction episodes extending the narrative behind the sci-fi spin-off, featuring an all new alien species and a new weapon.

The DLC also includes the Maverick rifle, a weapon that can be customised as either an assault rifle or sniper rifle.

By far the most interesting addition though is one of the four maps – Fog – which lets players take on the persona of Halloween’s horror icon Michael Myers and play through a medium-sized location featuring an abandoned cabin in the woods, a campsite and torture chamber. It even includes the classic Halloween soundtrack.

The other three maps are Containment, BayView and Ignition. Prepare for release on January 28th.

Damn that Maverick seems OP, hopefully it isn't. It's kind of cool that you can play as Michael Myers but I'm still debating on whether or not it's worth it.

Playing as Michael Myers seems cool actually seems like a good Map Pack but i dont have Ghosts anymore so i wont be getting it anyway

I remember playing it.. was a long time ago now though. I don't see many people doing it anymore.


I play with my friends once in a while. Hard though because different timezones. Mw2 is still my favorite CoD game and I still play it to this day.

the MM thing looks interesting at best. i'd rather it be an actual gamemode(probably will never happen but still). and scrapyard was a great map but the noobtubing and the overall garbage MP in mw2 made it unplayable. seeing it re-made for ghosts might be good idk personally i think ghosts has garbage MP too.

i wish they'd just sell individual maps. $3.75 for each map and the weapons should honestly be FREE. that sounds like a better deal than wasting $15 on a dlc that you wont fully enjoy.

Ahh. Nothing says desperate like a gimmick or two.
You can really see where 3arch spent their time in this game, just a shame iw or neversoft had no half good ideas of there own.

You know how much paper work they had to do just in order to have the Halloween music? Not to mention the mask.
