GTA Online Christmas brings snow to Los Santos, seasonal masks

Grand Theft Auto Online publisher Rockstar is getting into the Christmas spirit with a slew of festive goodies for you to enjoy while you murder each other.

Aside from snow coming to Los Santos, Rockstar has listed a ton of festive treats for you to tuck into over the holidays on its blog.

You’ll be able to buy a range of winter-themed masks, jackets and other clothing items from stores around San Andreas, and these can be worn until January 5.

The Snapmatic camera has been bolstered with facial expressions, zoom lenses and new filters, while a range of vehicles, guns and apartments are discounted until January 5.

Vampiric It's cool but it could be better.

-Driving leaves no tire tracks
-All pedestrians are still wearing shorts and T-shirts and standing around talking
-No cars have snow on them or any sign of snow
-Your car doesn't get any snow on it no matter how long you drive it for

Still pretty cool, just those little details that would've made it a lot better.


I don't think you realize the kind of specs Rockstar is working with here and this is only one time that they're even doing this. Why put so much detail into something that's going to be played for only a day? (few days? a week? I don't know.)

I agree, the snow literally just cuts off on certain parts of the map.

I love the Snow. I don't know why they want to take it down. They should have an off and on button in my opinion.

-Mark I am actually going to get on and check this out! Seems pretty cool and it will be even better if it affects the driving.

Anyone know how long they will keep the snowy map?


I'm guessing they'll keep it until after Christmas.
