PlayStation Plus trailer showcases 2013's games

Sony has released a new PlayStation Plus trailer showcasing the range of games offered through the subscription service in 2013.

The headline feature of PS Plus, which costs £39.99/€49.99/$49.99 annually, is Instant Game Collection. It offers subscribers a rolling selection of PS4, PS3 and Vita titles, from triple-A blockbusters to indie darlings, which remain accessible for as long as they are paying members.

December's European PS Plus update includes DmC Devil May Cry on PS3, Soul Sacrifice on Vita, and Don't Starve on PS4. The latest US PS Plus update features Borderlands 2 on PS3 and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed on Vita.

Sony used the PS4 launch in November to make a number of significant changes to PS Plus.

PS4 owners are required to subscribe to PS Plus in order to play online multiplayer, which isn't the case on PS3 or Vita.

Dorkus Really considering the PS4 now, they have some really good games to offer for the subscription.

Make sure to look into it and make an educated decision before buying, i am personally a PS4 guy myself

The Xbox One does as well, make sure you research both consoles a lot before you make your final decision. :)

daRealRush Hopefully more free games come out for the PS4, for PS Plus Subscribers! And, hopefully just more games comes out for the system real soon.

t's such a great deal it would be crazy not to join. Just hope the free games continue to be as good now Sony are making it compulsory (for multiplayer) on PS4

Yeah Playstation plus is good value for money, but jeez i thought they would have updated the store for the PS4 a few times by now, not even any game trailers on there to watch. Though the PS+ Free exclusive to play Killzone was very nice to find

I think games should be #1 priority. It is a gaming console after all.

Yes, the games should come first. Worry about multiplayer servers after.

I agree, the main requirement for a console is some good games.
