Need For Speed Rivals gets free 2015 Ford Mustang DLC

The 2015 Ford Mustang has been added to Need For Speed Rivals as part of a free downloadable patch.

The 2015 Mustang was only revealed by Ford on December 5, but the car manufacturer had been working secretly with EA to get an in-game version of it ready for download shortly after the announcement.

"We worked closely with EA to provide engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before we showed it to the rest world, said Mark Bentley of Ford in a statement on the Need For Speed website. "The computer design models enabled the game developers to create an accurate representation of the new Mustang."

The 2015 Mustang doesn't go into production until late 2014, meaning this is the closest most car enthusiasts will get to driving the car for now.

As EA has not yet released an official changelog, it remains to be seen whether the patch improves the game in other ways.

ShadowBoltDashie I have not played Need For Speed since Need For Speed Pro Street. The series is good but then again I'm not really a racing game player so I haven't touched a racing game in a while.

Same I havent played a NFS since like 2009.

I have not played Need For Speed since Need For Speed Pro Street. The series is good but then again I'm not really a racing game player so I haven't touched a racing game in a while.

The newest addition to the series looks great. I have recently been playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit and have greatly enjoyed it. I think that this DLC will be greatly welcomed by those who enjoy the game.
