CoD: Ghosts gets Extinction Double XP Weekend

Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently hosting a double XP weekend in Extinction mode this weekend.

In effect from Friday until Sunday, December 15, the buff will offer players 100 per cent additional XP on matches of the game's co-op multiplayer Extinction mode.

The XP boost comes as part of what Activision is calling 'Extinction Day', marking a day of Extinction-focused official live streams airing today, Friday, December 13).

The live streams promise tips from experienced players on how to be good at the alien co-op mode, a Q&A with Infinity Ward developers and a "look at new features coming soon to Extinction".

How is extinction? People seem to like it more than multiplayer

Call of Duty Ghosts multiplayer looks terrible but I was considering purchasing it for the PS4 for the extinction game mode, any suggestions? Is the game worth it or not? I feel like CoD is dying out finally, anyway so I'm not sure if it's worth while purchasing it.

Neither have I and I don't plan to. Im done with the CoD series now. I will only Play some WaW and MW2 maybe.


I have to say that i'm just about done with the Call of Duty franchise as well. I'll still jump on to play some MW2 and MW3 occasionally and may continue buying the games 1-2 years after release for the single player campaign but that's about it.
