GTA Online's free Deathmatch & Race Creators beta available now

Rockstar has released a title update for Grand Theft Auto Online that adds 'beta' versions of its new Deathmatch & Race Creators tools.

The new functionality lets players create their own custom deathmatches and race scenarios with, according to Rockstar, "the same tools our own game design and development teams use".

Custom matches can be made for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Race, GTA Race and Rally Race modes, accessible from the Online tab of the pause menu.

Rockstar offers a more detailed description of the tools in a new blog post.

In a statement earlier this week, the developer teased GTA 5 players with the promise of "substantial" single-player story expansions in 2014.

"For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas," it said.

I absolutely love it, it's one of the best GTA's ever made in my opinion.


I also thought that it was an amazing game in terms of the single player experience. I beg to differ when it comes to the multiplayer though.

Well it is a beta, it isn't going to be perfect but I do agree that it is a cool feature.

I should really download this and give it a try, I have seen a fair bit of it over the past 24 hours or so but have never given it a try myself

ExoticWolfs I have messed around with this a bit a few days back, and it isn't too bad. I cant wait until it actually comes out, not just the beta.


Hopefully it will come out with more than Deathmatches and Races when it fully comes out. Full-on Missions. That's whats going to be really exciting.
