4J Studios has said it's currently readying Minecraft PS3 Edition for testing ahead of release.

It said on Twitter that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are further back in its queue of things to do.

"We're hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now. The other platforms & TU14 will be later."

Minecraft was announced for PS4, PS3 and Vita in August 2013. At the time, it was expected that the game would be a PS4 launch title, although that is not the case.

The Xbox One version of Minecraft was announced at E3 in June. Building off the 360 version, it promises "larger maps for more complex structures, expanded multiplayer features and enhanced gameplay".
