UK Chart: Call of Duty Ghosts is 3rd biggest launch of 2013

Call of Duty: Ghosts has debuted at No.1 on the UK all formats all prices chart for the week ended November 9.

The game recorded the third biggest launch week sales of the year behind GTA 5 and FIFA 14, according to retail monitor Chart-Track. The Xbox 360 version of CoD Ghosts accounted for 62 per cent of sales, the PS3 edition for 34 per cent, the PS4 version for three per cent, and the PC and Wii U editions for the remainder.

Battlefield 4 was a non-mover at No.2, followed by Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, FIFA 14 and GTA 5.

Batman: Arkham Origins, WWE 2K14, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Football Manager 2014 and Skylanders Swap Force rounded off the top ten, while 3DS exclusive Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy debuted at No.13.

Jesus Christ calm down man... GTA V is dying already anyway. Everyone's beginning to play the newer releases and when people realise GTA V isn't next-gen it's gunna be dead.

Well now that BF4 and Ghost came out I have not even touched GTA. The thing that killed the game for me was the fact that they cut the amount of RP you earned and the money in half. Total BS.


InsanePanda realized he was wrong lol... yeah they SHIPPED $1 billion worth to retail, they are probably like half way to $1 billion. GTA made $1 billion in 3 days...

UZl Call of duty will have to come out with something better next year if they want to be in first, which they probably will because gta VI wont come out foy another three of four years.


Actually I heard this is their last CoD ever... but probably not true unless its dying since its a multi-billion dollar franchise.

I knew it wasn't going to beat GTA 5 but i'm surprised FIFA 14 came ahead of it, pretty good for activision, but they probably wanted 1st.
